1:1 Coaching
A personalized program to help you create healthy habits that stick.
What to expect:
Philosophy:
Working with your functional healthcare team:
In every session we’ll review goals: we’ll celebrate wins & trouble shoot the things that are not working before we set new goals. I’ll help you find tools & exercises to track your progress, identify your strengths and help you find ways to incorporate motivation & accountability into your daily routines. I offer a variety of sessions so you can tailor the program to you - click through the options below.
I use positive psychology methods to navigate a functional medicine frame work.
Instead of using shame & fear, we’ll work with positive motivators. Fear and especially shame are short term motivators that often fuel bad habits - and negatively impact things we’ll be actively working to improve - like gut health, anxiety, mood and energy.
Sometimes we don’t hit our goals - we’ll review why with curiosity instead of failure. If something didn’t work, how can we restructure the approach to the goal? What resources of support are available?
My roll as part of your Functional Medicine healthcare team is to help you make supported changes prescribed by your doctors. Doctors tell you what to change - Coaches help you make that change.
Complex symptoms can be overwhelming to seek treatment and diagnosis for. I can help you advocate for yourself as you navigate care with your medical team.
I also work with clients who know the changes they need to make before they are a problem - for example, clients who have family history or genetic predisposition for dementia, diabetes, cancer or other concerns that can be partially prevented or managed through lifestyle change.
I am not HIPAA compliant & I do not diagnose or prescribe.

Kitchen sessions are held in your kitchen to help you establish habits. These are tailored to your goals. Some of the things we can do in a kitchen session:
Meal prep for the week ahead
Create meals that you will crave, that are fast, easy to make, easy to clean up & meet your dietary requirements
Learn cooking techniques that help you eat (or not eat) certain foods. For example, gluten free cooking, making foods that are crispy without frying, incorporating more vegetables , cutting out processed sugar, low glycemic cooking, adding in lean protein or healthy omega 3 rich fats
Adapting your favorite recipes to your new dietary needs
Trouble shooting how to make meals healthy and easy for the whole family
Please note Kitchen Sessions are not an option for the first session. We require a previous session to learn what your goals are and tailor the session to your needs.

I work with clients making dietary changes. I can help you make new habits and reach goals! This program will help you build momentum, work with your strengths and break down bottlenecks.
Sleep, movement, and especially stress reduction are all intricately related and many people work on those issues along with food related goals.
Serious or complex issues may require the help of a specialist, like a nutritionist, dietician or doctor. If you are wondering we can schedule a call to discuss.

As a coach I am here to support you and provide resources. Our group coaching sessions are designed to provide insights, collectively troubleshoot and talk through challenges - to empower you with tools to use your strengths and past successes to create lasting change.
Showing up to every session helps, but it’s not a guarantee.
You can book a free 15 minute session with me to see if coaching will be a good value for you.

You can book one time sessions after we have completed the 4 weeks of sessions.
I do require that you buy the package to start. Change doesn’t happen overnight and I want to make sure you get the most out of our time together. Four weeks is a big commitment and that’s an early sign of success!
I offer a free 15 minute call so we can meet and talk through any questions you have. Its a good way to make sure the program is a good fit for you before you sign up!

I do not - Our work together will focus on setting goals and sticking to them!
Doctors and nutritionist can offer medical advice and diagnosis. My roll is to help you make the lifestyle and behavior changes they advise in order to maintain your overall wellness.
I trained at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy and have experience working with in the functional medical matrix and with many of the diet and nutrition programs they prescribe. I also am happy to help you find practitioners.

Yes, I do! I worked in the restaurant and specialty food industry for a decade and one of my favorite things was recipe development.
A new dietary restriction often brings up FOMO. We can do a little recipe development to turn an old recipe into a new one - that meets your current dietary needs
We’ll also talk about ways to navigate social situations, like dinner parties and tips for going out to eat.
